On August 23 at STI Global City, the Telegrafico Sub-Organization of the AB Communication Society held its workshop on the 4th floor, providing a creative space for students to practice and refine their chosen positions in the sub-organization.
Larissa Joya, the Head Writer, stated that the purpose of this workshop is to refresh the minds of the members. She added, "Because there may be people who haven't exercised or practiced their respective skills. Kasi ito na din ang training grounds nila."

When asked how she got the position as Head Writer, she explained that their Editor-in-Chief, Ate Kym, the President of AB Communication Society, offered her the role and invited her to take on the responsibilities. Joya said, "Having the credentials, (Kym) believed in me naman na I was capable and have the right skills naman to possess this position."
Joya relayed a message for the reluctant students and stated, “If wala pa nag jo-join or nag he-hesitate pa kayo, ang masasabi ko lang is sa Telegrafico we've said or some of the heads din said sa GC na it is the perfect sub-org if you want to compile or collect your portfolio, kasi doon din makikita sa postings natin na nakalagay na doon yung pangalan mo, may maipapakita ka and malalaman mo din dito yung kung paano mag practice sa field na ito na very fast-paced." She also added that, in Telegrafico, articles are usually published as soon as possible after an event, which follows a common practice in news writing—news stories being timely and relevant. With this, she emphasized how the workshop is only the start of a series of initiatives to sharpen members’ skills and ensure that Telegrafico continues to deliver quality stories for AB Communication Society and STI Global City.
