STI Talent Search 2025 Crowns Champions

Researcher: Ma. Elvira Angoluan, Telegrafico STI Global City students showcased exceptional talent and creativity as the Talent Search 2025 culminated in the official announcement of winners across four major competitions: Battle of the Bands, Hataw Sayaw, Singing Idol, and Mr. and Ms. STI. The event was held on September 12th at the STI Global City Gymnasium. In the Battle of the Bands, Up Above emerged as Champion with a crowd-winning performance, followed by After Class Band as 1st Runner-up and The Bitter Sweet Band as 2nd Runner-up.
In the Hataw Sayaw dance showdown, Tourism Vibes claimed the Championship title. SG: Mermaids secured 1st Runner-up, while Yinyang placed 2nd Runner-up.
For Singing Idol, Abigail Espiritu took the top spot, with Samantha Cafirma coming in as the 1st Runner-up of the competition. Following them at 2nd Runner-up was Arnel Andrade.
At the end of the day, Dhenick Carlo Majadas and Rolyn Mae Lazarra were crowned Mr. and Ms. STI Global City 2025 in the Local Talent Search, both also receiving the Special Awards for Mr. and Ms. Photogenic. Taking the 1st Runner-up spots were Angelo Lorenz Alcoba, who was also awarded Mr. Congeniality, and Trixy Modina, who swept the Best in Formal Attire, Best in Swimwear, and Best in Casual Wear awards. Meanwhile, Andrey Tolentino and Princess Yvonne Escat earned the 2nd Runner-up titles, while John Matthew Aclaracion and Rinoa Jillian Raniag placed as 3rd Runner-up winners. Aclaracion also secured the Best in Swimwear and Best in Casual Wear distinctions. Other recognitions included Zedrix Pancho for Best in Formal Attire and Althea Jeanne Bola as Ms. Congeniality, completing the roster of special awardees.
As the annual Talent Search comes to a close, it once again highlights STI Global City’s commitment to providing a platform for students to showcase their skills and individuality.
