Crowning Character: The Essence of Mr. STI 2025

The lights dimmed, the crowd hushed, and the music began to play. At that very moment, the stage in the STI College Global City Gymnasium transformed into a canvas for the pageantry on September 12, 2025. There, the candidates take their first steps on the journey of Mr. & Ms. STI 2025.

The competition opened with the casual wear walk, a segment that set the tone for the evening. As each candidate stepped onto the stage, their presence spoke volumes. Then, in the sportswear segment, the energy of the room changed to show its refreshing side. After that, the formal wear competition followed, which filled the event place with elegance. With that, the young men carried themselves with poise beyond their years to prove that confidence is as much about presence as it is about character.

Then came the question-and-answer portion, the part where charm had to give way to substance. It was here that the audience saw not just candidates, but young leaders unafraid to speak with honesty and conviction. Their answers reflected intelligence, authenticity, and the courage to stand by their beliefs.

As candidate Andrey Tolentino shared, “Wag masyado kabahan kasi after all practices, magkakaroon naman ng friendship and makakabuo kayo ng confidence,” which embodied how one must persevere no matter the challenges. Meanwhile, in line with these very same thoughts, 2nd-time participant Dhenick Carlo Majadas also mentioned, “Please wag kayong titigil kung ano talagang gusto nyo gawin nyo, and wag kayong magpapa-pigil sa ibang tao if they said na you can’t do this.” Such were words that captured the very heart of the competition. And so, as the crowd cheered and supporters raised their banners, it became clear that the event was a stage for inspiration.

With this competition, the Mr. STI candidates proved that poise is stylish, intelligence can be charismatic, and that dreams shine brightest under the spotlight. The night ended with applause, not only for the winners but for all the candidates who showcased their heart, dedication, and courage in front of a huge crowd. Indeed, this was not just about the crown, but about the spirit of excellence and the pride of being an STI student.
