More Than Just the Crown

Possessing an undeniable charisma, grace, and oozing intelligence, and the result—a jam-packed talented amateurs that made the stage glimmer with their smiles and glamorous attires. The annual competition of STI Talent Search paved its way with another shining year as the event highlighted the most awaited Mr. And Ms. STI 2025 and finally proclaimed its grandeur.

With contestants showcasing their casual, swimwear, and evening attires, they truly served as a beacon of beauty and bravado. The cheers of the crowd filled the whole gymnasium as everyone volumed their full support with their undying screams. But the true pillar and foundation of the candidates’ perseverance are their parents and loved ones who also happen to be right in front of them. Such as Ms. STI Global City candidate Althea Jeanne Bola, who stated, “my mom is really my biggest support system for goals, for gym, talagang siya nagsu-support sa akin.” Truly, the candidates' hard work and dedication has paid off the moment they feel supported. 

The weight of the sought-after crown is as heavy as the pressure. And Ms. STI Global City candidate Reign Jeanne Friginal feels just as much, saying, “since this is the second time I’m joining, the pressure on me is very high. I overthink a lot,” when asked what the most challenging part of her journey was. On the other hand, she mentioned how whatever failure she experienced from the past, “trying again is never a weakness.”

In an interview with Ms. STI Global City candidate Rolyn Mae Lazarra, she shared the inspiring message: “do it afraid. Sometimes you have to go out of your comfort zone and be adventurous.” With that, Lazarra leaves a piece of advice that every aspiring beauty icon can take as they embark on their pageantry journey. At the end of the day, each contestant gave outstanding showcases of themselves in every way they know how. And so, history has truly written itself under the stars with every inch of effort given by all of our candidates.
